The North Counties HIV/AIDS Care Consortium (NCCC) is an association of health care and support service providers and community based organizations established to plan, develop and deliver, either directly or indirectly, comprehensive health and support services for persons with HIV disease in Island, San Juan, Skagit and Whatcom Counties. The primary responsibility of the NCCC is to assess the needs of persons living with HIV (PLWH) in the region, prioritize HIV-related services, allocate funds to provide those services and evaluate service delivery under the federal Ryan White C.A.R.E. Act. The NCCC encourages PLWH, and other interested persons and providers, to participate in planning and evaluating HIV/AIDS programs at the local level by applying for membership in the consortium. The term of membership is two years.

Individuals or organizations interested in being considered for membership should mail a completed Membership Application (Individual) or Membership Application (Organization) to NCCC Membership Committee, Evergreen AIDS Foundation, 1509 Cornwall Avenue, Bellingham WA 98225 or to Ed Wilhoite by facsimile transmission at (360) 671-9882 or electronically (see application for address).

Evergreen AIDS Foundation is the lead administrative, fiscal and contract agent for the NCCC. Agency members include Whatcom County Health Department, Skagit County Health Department, Island County Health Department, Sean Humphrey House, Whidbey AIDS Support Fund and Interfaith Community Health Center. Individual members include Gary Stein (Co-Chairperson), Linda Lindegaard and Monty Piepereit.

All meetings of the NCCC are open to the public. Although the meeting location and time may change, meetings currently are quarterly on the fourth Wednesday of the first month of the quarter at 9:30 a.m. at the Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church.
